Drink for Good
To Seek the Good is to participate in Milwaukee's resurgence as a city.
One way we do this as a company is by supporting local non profits through our Drink for Good program. Drink for Good is a taproom program that shines a spotlight on a non profit for one month. Every Thursday for the month, $1 of beer sales from The Goods list (Risk, Motto, Detail, Good City Pils, and Reward) is donated to the non profit. For the month of November, we are proud to help support Prevent Blindness Wisconsin and their vision of ensuring every WI resident has healthy vision at every stage of life. Let's Drink for Good!
September | Milwaukee Film
As we gear up for the Milwaukee Film Festival, one of our favorite times of the year, we thought it was only appropriate to feature our good friends, Milwaukee Film, as our September Drink for Good partner. Milwaukee Film is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to building a robust, community-based film culture in the Greater Milwaukee Area. They seek to support and foster local filmmakers, the local filmmaking industry, and a vibrant community of film fans, audiences, and patrons.
August | Revitalize Milwaukee
In August we partnered with Revitalize Milwaukee. Revitalize Milwaukee helps transform communities by providing free, critical repairs and comprehensive services to low-income veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities. They've performed 14,100+ repairs and changed 4,500+ lives over the past 19 years.
July | Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
Following a spectacular Seek the Good Saturday, we partnered with the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center for the month of July to help support their mission to conserve our land’s diverse habitats on Lake Michigan and provide meaningful experiences and environmental education for all.
Did you know that the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center was once a farm for the Schlitz Brewery draft horses? With 6 miles of trails on 185 acres of forests, wetlands, restored prairies, ravines, bluffs, and the Lake Michigan shoreline, the center offers great recreational and volunteer opportunities for all.
June | The Park People
For the month of June, we partnered with the The Park People to help support their mission of ensuring a truly vibrant, viable system of parks that will offer quality recreational experiences for all citizens. Every Thursday they had guest bartenders a and an information table set up in the taproom full of free swag! It was a great way to engage customers and inform them about the Drink for Good program and the Park People's mission, upcoming events, and ways to get involved.
