Our East Side production brewery and taproom opened in June of 2016, and has since already gone through a number of expansions that include a rooftop patio, Good City Hall and doubling of production capacity.

Amber Ale 5.5%

Brewed with Cascade hops and a blend of U.S. and German malts, this balanced and approachable amber ale is our nod to the classic beer style that has inspired community gatherings both old and new. Gather round. Share the good.


IPA 6.5%

Simcoe and Centennial hops lend a very balanced profile tending toward pine and citrus.


Double IPA 8.5%

Dank hop aroma. Tropical fruit and distinct pineapple character backed up with a floral/tangerine hop flavor.


Pilsner 5.2%

Crisp, clean tone that is light-colored and light-bodied with German Tettnang and Saphir hops.


Porter 5.4%

A classic robust porter with a clean and balanced roasted malt profile, right down the middle between chocolate and coffee-like. Get lost in the details that matter. Seek the Good.

Varietal: El Dorado

Hazy Double IPA 8.3%

Varietal: El Dorado Hazy Double IPA is brewed solely with El Dorado hops, resulting in a seriously juicy, mango brew with notes of sweet cherry.


Belgian Wit 5%

The perfect summer Witbier featuring orange peel and coriander.


Rum & Port Barrel-Aged Belgian Quad 10.4%

A Belgian-Style Quad aged in port wine and rum barrels.

Lord Lyon

Scotch Ale 8.5%

This Scotch Ale seeks to honor your palate with a sweet malt body, earthy hops, and slight smokiness.

2019 Density

Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout 11.2%

A behemoth of a beer, this Imperial Stout is an ode to the goodness of dense and walkable neighborhoods. Density features lots of roast character with a distinct burnt toffee note coming from the addition of molasses in the kettle. Build up your neighborhood. Seek the Good.

High Density

Port Wine & Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout 13%

Twice barrel aged, 3 months in port wine barrels and then 6 months in bourbon barrels, this "extra" version of our beloved Density Imperial Stout weighs in at 13% and is guaranteed to knock your socks off.

Scarcity 6

Coffee Imperial Stout 10.8%

Back by popular demand, Coffee Density uses the same base imperial stout as Density, cold-steeped with a light roast from MKEing Coffee which balances out the forward notes of chocolate and molasses, leaving you with a big coffee aroma and lingering roasted profile.


Summer Ale 4.5%

A Nomad and Good City collaboration celebrating the 2018 World Cup. Highly drinkable with tropical notes, this dry hopped Wheat Ale pairs perfectly with the balance and precision displayed on the pitch. Explore cultures. Seek the Good.


Brett IPA 6.5%

Brewed in collaboration with our friends at 1840 Brewing Company, Hopes Brett IPA holds a very special place in our hearts, as it is the first beer to have fermented in our new oak foeders in our Downtown taproom. This funk forward offering showcases flavors of pear and citrus rind and is available on tap at both Good City locations and the 1840 taproom.

State of Nature

Belgian-style Abbey Ale w/ Brettanomyces 7.5%

This Belgian-style Abbey Ale was aged in our foeders with Brettanomyces, resulting in a sweet and spicy beer with a solid malt backbone. With a distinct aroma of cherry pie and a slightly funky flavor profile, State of Nature delivers an experience that is both interesting and delightful to those who choose to imbibe.

Dunkel Lager

Dunkel 5.6%

Brewed with German malts and Tettnang hops, this deep malty brew is easy drinking without being overly sweet and finishes smooth. Prost!


Gluten Free Pale Ale 5.0%

Our very own gluten-free brew, Simplicity Pale Ale is crisp and citrus-forward with subtle notes of berry.

We've built an urban taproom to enjoy fresh beer in the heart of Milwaukee's East Side.

Located on Farwell Avenue in the heart of Milwaukee's vibrant East Side, we have built an urban taproom with the same meticulousness that we use to brew our beer. The result is an open concept brewery where customers feel like they are a part of the brewing process. You can expect a family friendly environment, fresh beer, delicious food, and an atmosphere that fosters good conversation and community.


  • Mondays: Join us every Monday night for Flight Night! Build your own flight of 4 for $10 from 4pm-close.
  • Tuesdays: Every Tuesday night, enjoy our Burger of the Month from 4pm-9pm!
  • Thursdays: On Thursdays, we drink for good! Learn more about our Drink for Good program here and find out who we're partnered with this month! We also have Karaoke Night in Good City Hall every Thursday from 9pm to 12am! Everyone who sings receives $1 off their beers.
  • Saturdays: Tour the brewery every Saturday at 1pm and 2pm! Purchase tickets here.
  • Sundays: Enjoy a brewery brunch! Rotating brunch specials are served from 11am-4pm on Sunday & Monday in addition to our regular menu!
